Urban Renewal Live at The Guthrie Center

Urban Renewal blends a mixture of 70’s and 80’s funk and soul music with West African polyrhythms. The group features high energy vocals, a tight rhythm section, with some kickin’ horns and percussion. Urban Renewal has done some terrific performances for us in past years and they donate all proceeds to the Guthrie Center! People always have a fantastic time. We will have the dance floor open because it is just not possible to listen to their music and not want to get up and move, so bring your dancing shoes!
