The JOINT CHIEFS – FREE CONCERT!!!!

We are thrilled to bring this great local band – the Joint Chiefs here to Grover’s Corner ! They are a truly talented group of musicians. Come by and you will hear, and see what I mean! Over the past 30 years, the Joint Chiefs have won the favor of regional audiences drawn to what Michael Eck of WAMC describes as “their tight harmonies and loose attitude.” Over a smoldering instrumentation that weaves percussive underpinnings with guitar, mandolin, button box accordion, and bass, the Chiefs unleash an acrobatic vocal awareness that soars high above it. While in flight, the three lead vocalists take turn driving… swooping and diving across a song scape that dovetails their own writing with “chestnuts” by a diverse group of well known artists. They have released three CD’s, have been featured live on WKZE and WAMC, and are a fixture of live music programming in the Northwest corner of CT.
