Songwriter Series with Taylor Slonaker

The Sandy McKnight Songwriters Fund continues strong with its bi-monthly Songwriter Series at Appetito restaurant in Lee, Massachusetts. This month, the Series celebrates women with two fabulous female artists, along with Series executive producer Liv Cummins, and Appetito owner, Rebecca Clerget. Presented on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, the April dates are Friday, April 4th with Christine Bilé and Friday, April 18th with Taylor Slonaker, at 6:30 pm. The Series honors the legacy of renowned local singer-songwriter Sandy McKnight, who passed away in May 2024.

Singer/songwriter Taylor Slonaker is a musician, singer, and poet from Great Barrington, MA. Slonaker is a junior at the University of Vermont studying English, with aims to pursue a Master’s degree in Secondary Education. Some of her musical influences are Matt Maeson, Pink Floyd, Kyle “Guante” Tran Myhre (Poet), Sufjan Stevens, Doja Cat, Glass Animals, and Fleetwood Mac. Taylor’s original songs and poems are inspired by life experiences, and she is an advocate for raw vulnerability in performance as a way to connect and empathize with others.e.
