Dorothy’s Saturday Evening Residency continues with the Dave Bartley Quartet.

Every Saturday evening we are thrilled to have the exciting Dave Bartley Quartet on stage for your listening pleasure. with a rotating cast of characters. Stop in for dinner or sit at the bar and enjoy the warm surroundings.

David Bartley has been a staple of the Berkshire Jazz scene for more than a decade playing jazz and blues piano in a variety of settings and ensembles. These quartet dates will feature some of the top players in western Massachusetts and eastern New York. The group will be presenting straight ahead swinging interpretations of material drawn from the body of jazz standards, as well as deeper cuts of less well known jazz gems, and some of Dave’s iconic original material. April 13: Vocalist Mary Ann Palermo will join the quartet of Charlie Tokarz on reeds, Pete Toigo on bass, Tom Parker on drums, and me on piano.

April 20: Charlie Tokarz on reeds, Dan Broad on bass, Leah Bowden on drums, and me on piano and vocals.

April 27: Aaron (hurricane) Dean on reeds, Pete Toigo on bass, the Fran Curley Explosion on drums, and me on piano and vocals.
