Coronation Music For Choir, Organ And Brass

The Cantilena Chamber Choir presents a concert of Coronation Music written expressly for the Kings and Queens of England since the time of Handel. The concert will feature music by Handel, Purcell and John Rutter and feature music for the most recent coronation of King Charles with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tarik O’Regan. Williams College organ professor Tim Pyper is our guest and joining him is our wonderful brass quartet and timpanist. Also on the program we begin our tribute anniversary year of Anton Bruckner with three lush motets.
