Williams Concert Choir and the Williams Chamber Choir conducted by Anna Lenti present a fall concert. This event is free and open to the public.
The Williams Concert and Chamber Choirs present their fall concert on themes of love for the earth and each other. This concert takes its inspiration from the language of love poetry, which is often saturated with earth imagery and references to nature. The program roughly follows the journey of a day, beginning with “O Radiant Dawn” (MacMillan) and other pieces that reference the morning, and ending with “Stars” (Esenvalds). The works in the middle celebrate various elements of nature, intertwined with love poetry, including works by Barnwell, Britten, Debussy, Sewepagaham, Wadsworth, and more.
