Classic Lyric Arts Concert

Classic Lyric Arts nurtures excellence in the world of opera and classical singing through its intensive language-based training programs in France, Italy, and the Berkshires. Founded by Glenn Morton, CLA stands out for its unique approach of immersing professional and emerging singers in the craft and culture of French and Italian vocal music. Under Morton’s leadership, CLA emphasizes individual work with native teachers and trains artists in lyric diction, musical style, and spoken language, aiming to inspire artistic potential in emerging opera talents.

Students and faculty members will present staged opera scenes at the Adams Theater during CLA’s Berkshire residency, which is devoted to mastering the artistry of Mozart’s Italian Operas.
