Aston Magna Family Day

Saint James Place opens its doors to families with children who love music for this interactive free family concert. Aston Magna Family Event introduces children to the instruments and music of past centuries, which continue to have a place in today’s concert halls. Event is on Saturday, May 25 at 3pm in our Great Hall.
Meet musicians of Aston Magna Music Festival who will share their love of music and history!

Kids Activities
Pet a theorbo, pluck a viol, bow a violin.
Listen to sounds of the past and try your hand at historical instruments.
Enjoy performances of Bach and Vivaldi on original instruments by the specialized musicians of the Aston Magna Summer Festival
Introduce your children to the musicians you can hear in July and August at Saint James Place.
