A Jewish Journey through Broadway: Part 1 1920-1980 honors those amazing Jewish composers who helped transform American musical theater through their beloved songs and shows. Part 1 explores the early years of Broadway, from “Showboat” to “Follies,” from “Porgy and Bess” to “Annie.” You’ll want to sing along to your favorite composers: Rodgers and Hammerstein, Jerome Kern, Stephen Sondheim, Bock and Harnick, Jerry Herman, and so many more.
A special tribute to the universally beloved “Fiddler on the Roof” will be a highlight of this show, performed by professional singers and musicians from New York City.
