The Berkshire Concert Choir will perform at Hot Plate Brewing Company at 4:00 on Sunday, February 18, at the Hot Plate taproom, located at 1 School Street (off North St.) in Pittsfield. The performance will celebrate the release of one of the 10 microbrews that Hot Plate created in honor of the 2024 10×10 Festival in Pittsfield.
The Berkshire Concert Choir will perform music inspired by the beer specially created for this day of the festival — a Polish wheat beer, or Grodziskie – and will lead the audience in a singalong of familiar and singable tunes from the “Beer Choir Hymnal”. All are welcomed to the singalong!
The Hot Plate beer, named “Weary of the Luminous Silence,”. was inspired by a text from Olga Tokarczuk’s Nobel prize-winning novel, “The Books of Jacob”, which explores Polish history.
